![]() becos of all the parameters and tracks it seeks to change and update, which is something of a separate matter ![]() this is only a problem if i implement major changes in reaper such as SWS-snapshots which is known to cause a slowdown on Reapers UI understanderbly. ![]() So this is a factor compounding the problem in a sense, but regardless of the lessening of RTcpu usage, there is noticable lag on plugins when drawing waveforms etc such as shaperbox2,īut as i say. but they are consuming approxmately 56% RT cpu. I should mention there are alot of plugins running in the background. like a change of snapshots, which would bring hidden tracks to the foreground, and hide other tracks just an example. is closing the plugins before implementing any major changes that use both custom actions and or Sws extensions. although the audio plays throughout,īut there are occasions where the lag becomes so pronounced the beach ball shows up when doing any other major shifts within reaper. this is the M1 mac miniĪnd notice the difference when there is no plugin onscreen versus 1 instance versus 2 instances. ![]() highlighting the issue when shaperbox2 is in the foreground. That video with shaperbox2 was done on a PC with a 4770k I didn't noticed any lag and the sound was processed. ![]()
